Este evento tuvo lugar el dia de ayer, miércoles 16 de diciembre de 2009, a las 20:45 ET, 7:45 hora hondureña. Torneo ID: 213938048.

La etapa del Heads-Up, se vio protagonizada por Hamlet77 y este su servidor Reypeon. Cuando el jugador untimido670 queda eliminado en tercer lugar, dando inicio al HU, nuestra situación en fichas era la siguiente:

Por un momento pensé que el final seria fácil, pero la situación se complicó y terminamos jugando 35 manos antes de definir al ganador. He aquí un resumen de tres manos que en mi opinión considero fueron cruciales.

Mano # 1.

En una o dos manos anteriores a esta, Hamlet77 me había hecho un raise de dos veces la ciega grande y me había mostrado una mano débil. Cuando miro que tengo un par 66 y hace la misma apuesta que la vez anterior, pongo todas mis fichas en el centro para tratar de impresionarlo y detener lo que consideraba era una mano débil por parte de mi oponente. Está de más decir lo grande de mi sorpresa cuando él llama y muestra un par QQ.

Mano # 2.

Esta mano pudo haberlo definido todo. Su servidor, Reypeon, estaba en la ciega pequeña/botón y completé la apuesta para ver el flop. Mi mano era Kd 8s y cuando sale el flop me da un par alto de 8's, pero que tenía otras cartas que podían darle una escalera a mi oponente. Cuando miro que Hamlet77 pasa, pienso que tengo la mejor mano y hago una apuesta de 800, pero él me resube a 1600, solo tenia que poner otros 800 para ver el turn. Mi decisión fue entre ir all-in o retirarme. Al final decido por retirarme, después de haber visto a jugadores como Ivansito26 y el mismo Hamlet77 haciendo folds en manos previas de este evento. Hamlet77 me comenta después que tenia un par 55 y el flop le había dado un trio. Si que estuvo cerca!

Con esta mano, Ac Qs, que muchas veces escuchamos los malos comentarios que le hacen en los videos de eventos importantes, se definió al ganador. Cuando Hamlet77 en la ciega pequeña/botón completa la apuesta, su servidor sube. Mi oponente me resube all-in y casi instantáneamente, sin pensarlo dos veces llamé. Hamlet77 muestra Ah 2h y termina la mano con un stack de $572, dos manos después finaliza el torneo.
